Congratulations - You've Made One Big Decision! Now Its Time Choose Your Wedding Photographer...
The day is half-fantasy, and half-reality - and you want a photographer who can blend both in the images they create.
That's where Artifacts for Life comes in. From extensive pre-event planning, to post-event delivery of proofs and prints, we strive to give you the level and type of coverage you require, balancing formal photography with a youthful photojournalistic skills that capture people in their more relaxed moments.
We feel honoured to be invited to be a part of your big day, and love to see how diverse and welcoming celebrations can be. Striving to make as many people feel included in your wedding is a crucial part of the services I provide, from more formal shots of the wedding party to trying to include as many guests as possible in the ceremony and reception photos.
That said, we try to approach weddings with a relaxed, subtle, and unpretentious disposition - more like a reporter hoping to reveal moments as they happen, rather than a master of ceremonies staging an event.
These days many couples are drawn to the photojournalistic style advertised by some photographers. I strive to take things a step further by working as a practicing photojournalist freelancing for the Guelph Tribune and Guelph Mercury newspapers, as well as various editorial clients for local and national publications. This helps keep my eye sharp and my feet on the ground - hopefully humble and ready to see whats there, so the technical skills I have learned can help me show others the beauty in the moment.
Wedding packages include pre-event consultations to go over the style of coverage you would like to have - combining however many (or few) formals you would like to go with photojournalistic photography covering the dressing, arrival, ceremony, and reception. Unlimited email consultations and a pre-event trip to scout the wedding and reception location are also offered at the couple's request.
